He has written articles for the New Republic, Chicago Magazine, the Reader, Streetwise and In These Times. \u003cbr\u003e He was Press Secretary during Harold Washington's primary campaign in 1983, and then Deputy Press Secretary during the general election campaign and the early years of the first Washington administration.
