Like most first-time cancer patients, Mike was not familiar with these procedures, and did not know what to expect or how he should prepare for them. He realized that many first-time cancer patients must find themselves in a similar predicament - having to deal with the unknown. Therefore, Mike decided to write this book about his personal battle with throat cancer, and subsequent recovery. He wanted to describe his experience with the various procedures he was exposed to during his cancer treatment - specifically when he had them, how he felt about them, and most importantly, how much they hurt  If you have been diagnosed with cancer, or know someone who is about to undergo their own journey, then this book might offer some insights as to what to expect.
