PEACE and blessings reader, welcome to my EXPRESSION OF MENTAL ILLNESS, 2017 was the first glimpse into that expression. PEACE: AN EXPRESSION OF MENTAL ILLNESS is broken down into signs and symptoms and placed into fitting categories; PTSD, BIPOLAR, HYPERMANIA, MEDICATED, and PEACE. Each category represents a reoccurring cycle of mental illness and the struggle for management within that moment. PEACE: AN EXPRESSION OF MENTAL ILLNESS is organized in order with my recovery and should be read as such. Without that lens, I fear the reader will be lost in the wild structure rather than in the management of my mental illness. This is a long poem of PEACE, how much PEACE means to me, and what it takes every day to obtain/maintain PEACE. This ain't no fucking game. Every day I wake up pissed off at the world. I have to go through a process of each category just to function as a member of our society.
