Author Biography
LEENA DHINGRA was born in India, she came to Europe after the 1947 Partition of India. Her first novel Amritvela was published in 1988. She is an actor whose television appearances include The Bill, Casualty, Prime Suspect and Doctor Who. She starred as Manju Pratel in EastEnders and Mina Parekh in Coronation Street. A Londoner for 40 years, Leena Dhingra now lives near Manchester.
